The Boutique

This new wholesale catalogue is a marketing tool for small business owners to help promote their unique products to retailers within Ontario.

Distributed by an experienced sales person, information about your products will get into the hands of retail buyers and business owners in a professional way. Many business owners find it a challenge to sell themselves and their products to potential customers. We take care of that for you; presenting your product in our catalogue for buyers to review and purchase. We handle the sales follow-up and help you to develop a strong buying relationship with your new retail locations.

How the catalogue works:

Our professional, low key sales reps - including company owner Danielle DuBois - will distribute our catalogue to boutique style retailers throughout Ontario. The catalogue will contain a variety of hand-made, original, or environmentally friendly products in several categories including Jewelry, Bath & Body, Clothing, and Housewares. The catalogue will be printed and distributed 3 times per year in preparation for the upcoming seasons - Fall (ordering for Dec/Jan delivery) Spring (ordering for Apr/May delivery) and Summer (ordering for Sept/Oct delivery).

A list of locations to receive the catalogue along with a main contact name will be given to all advertisers and product listers by request. Initial sales follow-up will be done by our reps to help initiate the sales cycle. Main contact information for all manufacturers will be in each product listing to encourage the retailer to contact them directly. However, if in that initial follow-up call, the retailer is interested in ordering and they have not already directly contacted the product manufacturer, the information will be passed on to the product manufacturer to finalize the sale. A 5% commission will apply to that order only. No subsequent commissions apply to reorders from that retailer unless it is a new product listing in a future catalogue.

To limit the congestion of products in one geographical area, we ask that product manufacturers check city and postal code information before taking orders. This will prevent (for example) all 5 boutique retailers in CityA from carrying XYZ Bath & Body products. It is better for the product manufacturer and the retailer if this is the case.
